Some Much Overdue Pictures

This is a much overdue picture of where we live. This is a picture of Table Rock and yes...I took it myself...about 500 yards away from our house. Gorgeous.

Since we had Eric's brother and sister-in-law and their 2 girls over for a few days, the dogs were bummed because they were either in their cages or behind this gate-chair system. This is them begging to be let out. Eventually they just climbed through the opening in the chair...maybe they are smart after all!

This is our ginormous mountain of presents that the kids got to open on Christmas morning, which was actually the 23rd since the were going to their dad's on Christmas morning. They got Video gaming rockers, leapsters, Gameboy SPs, movies, video games, the oldest 2 got MP3 players...it was crazy.

This is our dog Jack (the black one) and his new best friend Cosmo (one of the other foster parent's dog). They were running around like maniacs and this was taken during one of their play breaks.

This is our cat Calypso...I caught her playing with that plastic bag...she looks guilty...and freaky with those yellow eyes that the camera decided to give her.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Finally took a Christmas picture today!

Christmas Time is Here

Hello All,

Just a few pictures quick...of the dogs. We'll get some of the kids later but in reality, I can't even post them. Oh well.
We are doing well and still have a full house; our kids are 6, 9, 11, 13, and 15 with all but the youngest being boys.
Keep praying for us as we continue to try to bring consistency to our house and "our kids". Thank you all for your support- we love you.

Movin' on Up

Greetings All!!

As you can see I haven't been doing a good job of updating this thing...but it isn't too big a deal since I never told anyone that it existed until now.

Eric and I are leaving Shelter Care in Ohio and are moving to Nebo, NC to work for Southmountain Children and Family Services as Foster Parents. We will have 5 kids, some of which will most likely be siblings. We will live in more of a community as there are 6-8 houses that all have the same amount of kids. Our ministry to these kids will be huge as they will come to us straight from being removed from their homes. As a ministry we have lots of initial needs. If you would like to donate $ or any of the items below we would greatly appreciate it.

- Twin Sheet Sets
- Twin Blankets and comforters
- 5 Radio Alarm Clocks
- Bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths
- Toothepaste and toothbrushes
- Combs and hairbrushes
- Sports equipment (Baseball, basketball, rollerblades, frisbees, badminton, etc.)
- Craft stuff (construction paper, glue, safety scissors, crayons, markers, etc.)
- Cheap photo frames (Any size)
- AA and AAA batteries
- Kid appropriate games and toys

Even if you would like to purchase a gift card to Wal-mart, Target, etc. that would be great too.

Keep us in your prayers as we get set up for a chance to impact the lives of these kids.

Check back often. I'll try to stay more up to date with pics and info. Thanks and God Bless!
